The Cleveland Indians, baseball's world champions, come to town for a six-game exhibition series beginning with the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Photo shows Lou Boudreau, left, and Joe Gordon, recognized as the best keystone combination in the game today. Photo dated: March 18, 1949.
