Photograph caption dated November 16, 1964 reads "Villain's stooge Thadeus Turpitude, Mrs. Harold Axelton, easily recognized by her flowing mustache, once again sets poor, innocent Emily, Mrs. William Aitken, in shawl, up for some foul action. Unaware of the pending disaster, orphan Fredonia pays no attention. The original melodrama 'The Perils of Penniless Emily Trueheart' will be opened by the Chase Street School PTA, 14041 Chase St., Panorama City at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday."
