Photograph article dated August 14, 1962 partially reads, "Earl Hatch, North Hollywood musician, composer and teacher, and member of the North Hollywood Optimist Club, has written a new Optimist song entitled, 'Be An Optimist.' Wilson Burke, lieutenant governor of the Valley's zone 1 and member of North Hollywood Optimist Club, will present it to Vinnie Simpson of Pacific Palisades, governor of Optimist International, District 14, at a district executive committee meeting of 16 lieutenant governors and other district officials at the regular 7 p.m. Wednesday meeting of North Hollywood Optimist Club at Hody's, 6006 Lankershim Blvd." Earl Hatch is pictured at the piano as Wilson Burke holds up sheet music.
