Description: Image of beach houses next to the Beach Road (later Pacific Coast Highway) below the bluffs of Palisades Park in Santa Monica, California.
Title devised by cataloger; date and location supplied by cataloger based on a similar image dated 1926 in Ernest Marquez publication Santa Monica Beach (Angel City Press, 2004), p. 53. These images appear to have been taken before the construction of the Roosevelt Highway (later Pacific Coast Highway) in 1929.
