Description
René Biane descends from a long ancestry of wine merchants from southern France, the Vaché family, and was born and raised in Ontario area. In this interview, Mr. Biane discusses his family history and his family’s dealings in the wine industry. At the time of the interview, Mr. Biane served as President of Brookside Vineyard Company in Guasti, California, formerly the location of the Italian Vineyard Company founded by Secondo Guasti. Mr. Biane also discusses memories of his youth and his activities in local service organizations.
