Photograph article dated September 3, 1963 partially reads, "'We were willing to give up everything,' says Mrs. Joseph Moore. But, as it turned out, they didn't have to. The Sylmar woman and her husband are almost ready to go on the road as traveling missionary musicians, and through the generosity of a few people, they've had to give up remarkably little. Mrs. Moore, 54, and her former band leader husband, 58, planned to sell their car and their house, if necessary, to buy an organ for Mrs. Moore and a van to take them to persons who were in need of spiritual music."
