Description
Photograph of a gazebo on the grounds of the Huntington Library and Art Gallery in San Marino, ca.1930. The gazebo is composed of a marble base made of three concentric circular steps and supporting six carved columns, which in turn hold up an elaborate dome. In the center of the gazebo, sitting on a broad marble pedestal, is a statue of a naked woman holding a winged cherub. There is a group of trees in the background and the gazebo sits in the middle of a neat lawn.
