Description
The Peoples Market was owned by Harvey Abbott. It was on the west side of Main Street, near Gabilan Street. On the right is T.P. Joy (later County Clerk); Fed E. McCollum whose brother was also a meat cutter at Peoples Market; Tom Perry Clark who is ready to go on delivery. The first Monterey County was on the ground floor to the right.
