Title supplied by cataloger. Bolshoi Ballet is part of the Bolshoi Theater, which also includes Russia's premier opera company. Bolshoi Ballet is one of the principal ballet companies of Russia and amongst the oldest and greatest ballet companies of the world, having begun as a dancing school for the Moscow Orphanage in 1773. Photograph shows several dancers of the Bolshoi Ballet in full costume. Unfortunately, the dancers have not been identified, and the performance is unknown, though it took place in Los Angeles. Photograph dated September 1987.
