Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated December 2, 1950 reads, "The Old Neggen barn at 9003 Reseda Blvd. has lived through historical times. New subdivisions are wiping out these old land marks." The article partially reads, "Vic Neggen of 9003 Reseda Blvd....came to the Valley from his native Minnesota in 1911. His father, Chris Neggen, built the old barn still standing on the ranch holdings in Northridge and cedar siding retains traces of his initials carved in the weather stripping of the barn that remains a landmark in the west Valley."; See images #00072002 through #00072004 for all photos in this series.
