Description
California Centennials Commission's Historical Caravan, conceived to take the history of the golden state to millions of new residents, is shown at its launching near the Coliseum on January 31, 1949. Left to right, Jack Landis, Benjamin Watson and Lloyd Mitchell, liaison officers of the Caravan; Dr. Aubrey Neasham, historian; and Ralph Wright, George Davis and Joseph Du Plain, also liaison officers of the Caravan.
