Description
"Gestauter Bach für die Wasserleitung in Rutenganyo." ("Dammed stream for the waterline in Rutenganio."). Stream with vegetation on both banks crosses picture from right hand corner to left. Farther away a man dressed in white, holding a walking cane, stands on the other side of the stream. Imprinted on the image: "Bei Rungwe. D. O. A. No. 1335a." ("Near Rungwe. G[erman]. E[ast]. A[frica].no. 1335a.").
First part of imprinted title on the image is crossed out, possibly because of wrong place name.
