Description: “Geoff.” Studio portrait of Geoffrey Christopher Irvine who was born at the Chogoria mission in November 1923, the second son of Archibald Clive Irvine and Margaret Joyce Irvine (nee Carr), he would become the Medical Superintendent of Chogoria Hospital from 1967-1983. ❧ This image is from an album chronicling the time that Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) spent at Tumutumu (1919-1921) and some of the early years at Chogoria.
