Undated photograph caption reads, "Thomas Merrill, assistant manager of the Burbank Bank of America, was named to the board of directors of the Burbank Community Chest. He will succeed the Rev. Winston Trever. Merrill also will head the Public Employes [sic] Division of the Red Feather fund drive, beginning next month. The residential division of the fund drive shifted into high gear with the announcement by chairman Mrs. Edward Trapani that she is signing up workers for her campaign. Volunteers who have not yet been contacted are urged to call their favorite Community Chest agency or contact Chest headquarters."
