Description
Sacramento City Police Officer Frank Boniface poses with child-on-knee in this circa 1925 photograph. A native of Telluride, Colorado, and naval veteran of the First World War, Boniface served with Sacramento's traffic division and school traffic patrol from 1921 to 1941. After removing to Fort Bragg for nin years, Boniface and his wife, Veda, returned to Sacramento in 1950. The 55-year resident of Sacramento died in November 1973 at the age of 82. The child is unidentified.
