When the Pacific Electric line to Long Beach was built, the Long Beach Bath House and Amusement Company built this bath house on the beach near the end of the street car line.
A view of the beach scene in front of "The Plunge", the ornate bath house in Long Beach. Included among the diversions of walking and swimming were horse-drawn carriage rides on the surf.
