D. Wilson. Title transcribed front of photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger based on the history of the photographer: Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880, and B. D. Wilson died in 1878. Printed on photo-mount below title: "From Watkins' Yosemite Art Gallery, Portrait and Landscape, 26 Montgomery Street, opp. Lick House Entrance. S.F."
