Title supplied by cataloger. The Los Angeles County Central Heating and Refrigeration Plant was designed and engineered by M.A. Nishkian Company.; Formerly located at 451 N. Hill Street on Fort Moore Hill, the two-story Central Junior High School building was built in 1936 by the City of Los Angeles Board of Education and designed by architect A. C. Zimmerman in the Mediterranean Revival Style. In later years, the campus was known as the Los Angeles City Board of Education Administrative Offices with the address of 450 N. Grand Avenue. Looking northwest from the Hall of Records towards the Los Angeles County Central Heating and Refrigeration Plant, the Santa Ana Freeway/US 101, Hill Street, the Los Angeles City Board of Education Administrative Offices (later demolished), formerly Central Junior High School, and the Fort Moore Pioneer Memorial. Dated October 18, 1966.
