This is side A of the fourth tape from the annual Drucker Symposium of 1987. This recording is from the AM session of day two, on April 30, 1987. Sam Craig is the moderator and Don Nicholson is the panelist. Drucker finishes his talk from side A of this tape, and then Nicholson discusses global markets. He compares dollar value, companies, and banks in the US to those of other countries. Technology has allowed the US to participate and compete in foreign markets that were previously inaccessible. According to Nicholson, since the US deregulated a decade previously, it allows for a temporary advantage in trading abilities, individual expertise, and the use of capital. He also gives his opinion on how global markets will be in the future. Drucker then briefly answers a question from Sam Craig.
