Alton Everest 1938, 39, 40." (2003-34-33) Everest, a professor at Oregon State University, developed an amplifier for de Forest's mechanical scanning television system. This view may be from the 14th floor of the Bekins Storage Building where de Forest's machine shop and chemical laboratory were located.
