Description
The West Coast Computer Faire was an annual computer industry conference and exposition. The first faire was held in 1977 and was organized by Jim Warren and Bob Relling. At the time, it was the biggest computer show in the world, intended to popularize the personal computer in the homes. The Sixth West Coast Conference took place in San Francisco on April 3-4-5, 1981. This is the recording of the panel titled "Micros in engineering applications". The titles of the papers presented are: "Design automation for microcomputers" by David W. Russell. "Microcomputer use for studying interconnected electric system" by R.K. Adams, J.M. McIntyre and R.W. Rochelle. "Development of microcomputer systems and their applications at the laboratory of wave information processiong of Hokkaido University" by Yoshinao Aoki. "Pascal programming for engineers: General least-squares curve fitting" by Alan R. Miller.
