Description
A large group of Mayan men, many wearing colorful clothing and hats, wait in a long line to vote on March 7, 1982. Behind them there are two wooden structures with straw roofing. Groups of Mayan men started lining up to vote at five in the morning. They were told that they would be killed if they did not vote.
Un grupo grande de hombres mayas, muchos con ropa colorida y sombreros, esperan en una larga fila para votar el 7 de marzo de 1982. Detrás de ellos se observan dos estructuras de madera con techo de paja. Grupos de hombres mayas comenzaron a formarse para votar a las cinco de la mañana. Se les dijo que los matarían si no votaban.
