Description
Clues that will shed light on the mystery murder of Mrs. Celia Holmes, cosmetic saleswoman, whose body was found in Laurel Canyon, were being sought by police. Photo shows Detective Lieut. Miles Ledbetter, left, and Police Chemist Ray Pinker, searching for blood stains in the Holmes residence. Pinker is testing dust and other material with a chemical reagent to determine the presence of blood. Edward E. Holmes, husband of the dead woman, is being held in jail.
