Photograph of an Agua Caliente Indian man, Simon Cibinoat, spinning Yucca fiber into yarn for making door mats, 1903. He stands, at left holding strands of yarn which are threaded into a spinning-wheel type of wooden mechanism. Three little girls stand and sit nearby. All four are outside in front of an adobe dwelling with a thatched roof. They are all barefoot.
