Description: "Picture of Alpine Meadows taken from the ski slope Nov. 12, 1981 after new addition to the ski lodge and other improvements. 'A' frame of the ski patrol hut and base of summit chair is on the left. The slide came from the left in this pix, burst through the 'A' frame roof and pushed debris to the spot where the pickup truck is parked. The slide burst through the white doors in the main lodge. The bldg. on the right with peaked roof was the new addition."
