Description
Photograph copied from Carl Eytel of Palm Canyon near Palm Springs, ca.1898. The canyon is, as its name suggests, full of palm trees, with a variety of other, shorter trees mixed in. The canyon is flanked by two rocky hills, both of which have sparse vegetation the one on the right is almost solid rock at the top. There is a ridge running between the two peaks, with what appear to be more palm trees along the crest. There is a mountain behind the hill on the right.
