Photograph of the women's prize-winning float, Miss Lillian Moody's phaeton at the southeast corner of Sixth Street and Spring Street, La Fiesta de Los Angeles, ca.1901. Two women sit in the driver's seat of the one-horse drawn flower-bedecked carriage. Part of another carriage is visible in the background at left. A small group of well-dressed spectators are visible at right. Several store-fronts are in the middle background. Legible signs include: ..."Number 1", ..."sey's [...]mary [...]received for [...]treatment", ..."ey Ch[...] [...]Sh"..., "Restaurant", "Los Angeles Brewing Co.", "The Manhattan"....
