Photograph caption dated September 8, 1962 reads, "Library on way - Mayor Samuel W. Yorty, left, Studio City Chamber of Commerce President Pat Galati and City Library Commissioner Ted Thomas join in groundbreaking ceremonies for new branch public library at 4400 Babcock Ave., Studio City. It will be the eighth new branch library opened in the Valley with money from the 1957 library bond funds."
