Joseph De Carlo turned himself in to police, who are investigating the murder of Valley bookmaker, Jack Whalen. It was speculated that Mr. De Carlo was sitting at ex-convict Mickey Cohen's table when the fatal shooting occurred. Photograph dated December 10, 1959.
