Two memorial arches of the Grand Army of the Republic spanning Market Street on both sides of intersection at 3rd and Kearny. United Railroads cable cars passing under arches, along with lone horse-drawn wagon. Single-truck electric streetcar of URR going south on 3rd. Lots of people on sidewalks. Mutual Savings and Chronicle buildings on left side of street. Grand and Palace Hotels, and Hearst (Examiner) building on right.
