Men taxying horse-drawn carts and men on foot are pictured in the foreground, tending to a mound of dirt to the left and a pile of rubble to the right at the base of the three-story brick hotel. A line of three trees obscures the building's lower portion. An earlier record identifies the image as being "from a stereograph".
