Description
View of "The Winn" apartment building, a brick building built in 1922, at 417 Ocean Front Walk in Venice, California. A sign on the building reads: "417. The Winn Apartments" and a woman is leaning against the building. Two people sit on a bench on the boardwalk, next to the sand of the beach, and houses are on either side of the building.
"The Winn 417 Ocean Front" and "Mrs. J.R. Winn - owner and manager" and "Venice"--text, handwritten in pencil on verso. Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on similar items in the collection. The photographer is presumably Thompson's Studio, 1001 Ocean Front, Venice - which is stamped on back of similar images with same handwriting on back.
