Description
Aerial view looking north across the Peninsula with the North Bay in the distance, taken before the Stanford Medical Center was built, likely in the mid-1950s. Moffett Field is in the center right of the photo; El Camino Real runs through the center of the image, with railroad tracks to the right. Bayshore is on the right hand side. The Foothill Expressway is in the left corner. Appears to be before Page Mill Road was re-routed in Palo Alto. There are many undeveloped fields between housing developments.
