Photograph caption dated April 10, 1958 reads, "Peter and Betsy Fritz wonder if Phyllis Dye can identify each owl in her collection by listening to who's hoot it is. A loan service officer at North Hollywood Federal Savings and Loan, Mrs. Dye's collection won an award at California Hobby Show in competition with more than 2,000 other exhibits. Owls are on display at North Hollywood branch of the loan association."
