Photograph caption dated April 7, 1954 reads, "Comic Red Skelton, one of Hollywood headliners booked for appearances at annual Police Show, sets about familiarizing himself with police life with the aid of Policewoman Joan Wharmby and Officer Trevor Simpson. Tickets of Shrine Auditorium show, will run May 6-19, are available at all police stations."
