Description
"In 1902, The Woman's Thursday Club of Fair Oaks produced their first brochure and program guide, complete with their newly drafted constitution. The brochure was owned by Mrs. Ralph W. Gore, whose husband ran a small grocery store with Charles H. Slocum. Throughout the club's history, they sponsored a variety of programs, such as the ones seen inside Mrs. Gore's brochure." Digital scans of ephema collected for the book "Fair Oaks," published by Arcadia Publishing as part of the "Images of America" series. See page 97 of book.
