A large crowd of people, many of them young, march during a funeral procession on their way to a burial site following a demonstration in Managua's Plaza 19 de Julio in honor of a group of young men murdered by Contras. In the middle of the image there is a group of young men, some in civilian clothes, others in military uniform, carrying three coffins, which belong to some of the young men murdered by Contras. The coffins are covered in the blue-and-white flag of Nicaragua and the black-and-red flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. One of the young men in military uniform is wearing a black beret. In the background there is an individual holding a large flower wreath. In the foreground there is a group of young women wearing white shirts. One of them is also wearing an olive green colored military cap. Una multitud de personas, muchas de ellas jóvenes, marchan durante una procesión fúnebre en rumbo a un cementerio después de una manifestación en honor a un grupo de muchachos asesinados por contras, la cual fue organizada en la Plaza 19 de Julio en Managua. En medio de la imagen se observa un grupo de muchachos, unos en ropa de civil otros en uniforme militar, sostienen los ataúdes, los cuales yacen cubiertos con la bandera albiazul de Nicaragua y la bandera rojinegra del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional.
