Chili Bar Bridge is reinforced-concrete, open-spandrel, fixed-arch structure consisting of seven spans (a main span, three arch spans and two cantilevered approach spans). It spans the South Fork of the American River on State Highway 193, Chili Bar, El Dorado County. Fourth bridge to be built at this location, work was completed in 1922. Designed by John Buck Leonard; Henry Lahiff was supervisor and inspector of job, constructed by John H. May of Napa.
