Description
Photograph of group of three buildings sitting near an unidentified body of water (Los Angeles Aqueduct?), showing large crates in the foreground, ca.1940. At center, a group of three buildings can be seen sitting in an open dirt field. Three windows are visible on the building to the far left, and a line of garments can be seen hanging from a clotheswire on the left. The smaller building in the middle shows four visible windows and a simple pitched roof. The tall building on the far right shows six visible windows, and a small awning over the entryway. The building near the center sits by a narrow channel of water. A large wooden plank near the base of the building extends across the channel to the opposing shore. On the grassy shore in the foreground, several wooden crates are visible on the left. Additionally, a small wooden pole holds a square sign. To the right, a pool of water surrounded by wooden beams can be seen. In the extreme background, a large hillside is visible.
