Marymount College, all female, was founded in 1933 in Los Angeles and later merged with St. Joseph College of Orange, and then with Loyola University to eventually form co-ed Loyola Marymount University in 1973. Marymount College was located at 10643 Sunset Boulevard in Westwood. Marymount High School is at that location today. Photograph caption dated December 5, 1959 reads "Marianne Kiechle, left, of Studio City and Dale Williams of Woodland Hills prepare a scene in Marymount College production of 'Carousel' with Actor Ray Quigley. Rodgers and Hammerstein musical will be given at 8 p.m. tonight, tomorrow and Monday in Cantwell Hall on Westwood campus and will benefit music scholarship fund."
