Photo--black and white: The interior of the First National Bank in 1904 or 1905 in Sebastopol located on the south east corner of Main Street and Santa Rosa Avenue (Bodega -Highway 12). The two men behind the teller's window are Walter Monroe and George E. Baxter. The woman is unidentified. In 1905 the bank became the Sierra National Bank. There were two banks in Sebastopol at that time: the First National Bank of Sebastopol and the Analy Savings Bank, which was a state bank. Walter Monroe ran the First National Bank, and A.B. Swain ran the Analy Savings Bank.
