Description
The West Coast Computer Faire was an annual computer industry conference. The Third West Coaste Computer Faire was held on November 3-5, 1978, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This is the recording of the session titled "Low-cost educational computing," and the follwing paper were presented: "Discovery learning in mathematics," presented by Ludwig Braun, Jo Ann Comito, Philip Reese and Robert Wlezien. "Computer Simulation in the college classroom: implementation and evaluation," presented by Gene D. Steinhauer. "The PET teaches English," presented by Ludwig Braun, Jo Ann Comito, Philip Reese and Robert Wlezien. "Some experimental support for educational computer games," presented by Muata Weusi-Puryear.
