Description
Photograph caption dated February 3, 1960 reads, "Crain hoists X-7 Ramjet into place as first display in Lockheed Missiles and Space Division "Avenue of Missiles" being assembled at plant entrance at Woodley avenue and Saticoy street, Van Nuys. Display will include four missiles and one satellite designed by Lockheed in company's contribution to conquest of space. Installation of permanent display began today, and will include 40-foot-tall Argus X-17 missile."
