Funds are still needed to meet parade expenses, said chairman Bert Miles. The 7:30 p.m. parade will start at Van Nuys boulevard and Oxnard street and continue along Van Nuys to Sherman Circle, where it will disband. Actor Walter Brennan has been named parade marshal."
