Photograph of an architectural drawing of a proposed YMCA building in Pasadena, California, at Valley Street and Fair Oaks Avenue. Drawing depicts an ornate corner building in the Victorian style. Title transcribed from back of photo-mount. Date approximated by cataloger based on history of the building; the YMCA purchased land for the building in 1886-1887, but the building was never completed (see p. 499 in Hiram Reid, History of Pasadena, 1895). Printed on bottom front of photo-mount: "Jarvis / Pasadena, Cal." Written on back: "Y.M.C.A. Corner Valley St & Fair Oaks, only the foundation was ever built."
