Photograph caption dated August 5, 1957 reads, "Mrs. Marguerite Howell, 31, sits disconsolately on front porch of her Burbank duplex apartment, looking at toys her missing children left behind. Children, ages 7 years to 9 months, are believed to be with Mrs. Howell's estranged husband. They have been missing since Friday."
