Description
Photo of some of the damage caused by the 1915 volcanic eruption of Ms. Lassen. A wide swath of barren and rocky ground appears to sweep down from the peak. Notes on reverse of photo indicate: "Lassen Peak as seen from the head of . . . creek showing the mud flow . . . also the two seams in the Peak (where) the steam jets came from."
