Photograph of Thomas Carroll's blacksmith shop which was located at 45 South San Pedro in San Jose. Pictured from left to right are Roy LeFevre (age 14), Oliver Polierre, and Thomas Carroll. Carroll was born in 1843 and retired in 1918; the date of death is unknown.
