This is an interesting montage of what looks to be after the party. The image is taken in the kitchen there are dishes on the counter on the left side of the photograph and a gas range on the right. In the center of the photograph is a pile of men and women's shoes with a hat and empty bottle of alcohol. The folder information indicates this is a Junior Chamber of Commerce event which was held at Walt Hoffman's house, taken March 29, 1946. In researching the Pasadena City Directories for 1943, and 1947 Walter Hoffman is not listed as a resident of Pasadena.
