Main entrance of Broadway School, located in Glendale, California. The school has been located on the same site at Broadway and Chevy Chase since 1887. It has had five different name changes, the current being John Marshall Elementary School, in memory of U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Marshall, and the present-day address is 1201 East Broadway. For several years the main building had picturesque two-story pillars in front, resembling the White House. The pillars were demolished when the east and west wings were rebuilt in 1950.
